Bikes + Beer (but no beer on bikes) to raise money for DSVC Foundation and college scholarships for students seeking a fine arts degree. This is a slow-paced, fun ride through Deep Ellum. We’ll stop at a few Creative Agencies, play games, and drink local beer.
We will be starting our ride at Local Hub, riding into downtown, through the farmers market and then back into Deep Ellum for our first stop at Matchbox. From there we will ride to fair park and take a spin through the fairgrounds. Then we will make our way back to stop number 2 at Belmont Ice House. After our stop at Belmont we will ride to Common Desk for stop number 3, before ending up back at Local Hub for dinner and drinks at Braindead Brewing.

Safety + Bike Security
We will ride on the streets in Deep Ellum and downtown Dallas. It is everyone’s job to obey all traffic laws and ride in a safe manor. We will ride together from Local Hub at a casual pace and stay together for the duration of the ride.
The Broom Wagon will follow the ride to a) provide support for flat tires and tired riders and b) create a buffer between the riders and crazy drivers.
I don’t have a bike. Can I still participate?
Yes! Local Hub is offering 10 free rentals for this ride. Please contact Ryan Crisman to reserve your bike.
Can I just drive my car?
Absolutely! You’re entry fee will be the same regardless. But, you can still enjoy local beer, participate in or cheer for games, and collect your t-shirt (and any other swag we can find).
Can I just come to dinner?
Sure! Dinner is not included in the cost of the event so you won’t need to pay an entry fee.
Is dinner included?
Dinner is not included with the entry fee. But, we’re hoping to have deals worked out with Braindead Brewing to offer a discount on drinks / food.
Are drinks included?
You know it! Every entry will receive 2 drink tickets to redeem at one of the ride stops. You’re welcome to purchase more drinks at any of the ride stops during the event.
What the heck is a Broom Wagon?
The Broom Wagon is the vehicle that sweeps the end of the course at Le Tour de France in search of broken bikes and injured riders. Our Broom Wagon will ride directly behind our group of bikes and provide support.
Can I ride in the Broom Wagon?
Maybe! We will have a limited number of seats available in the Broom Wagon. Email Ryan Crisman to secure your spot.
